David LeBlanc | Family Pastor

David grew up in Massachussetts and Vermont, and began following Jesus as a youth. He entered into ministry as a young man, and has pastored in rural Vermont for over a decade.

As Family Pastor, David serves Rivertown Church by taking primary responsibility for leading our family and children ministires, and in equipping parents for discipling their children. He also serves through discipleship, pastoral care, and preaching. David loves adventuring outdoors with his family, and keeping things extra clean an tidy. He and his wife Carly have three daughters and one son.

David Townsend | Discipleship Pastor

David was born and raised in North Carolina. He felt the desire to enter ministry as a freshman at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, majoring in Philosophy and Religion. David completed his M.A. in Intercultural Studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and while there, met his wife Kaitlyn. Together they felt called to make Jesus known in Vermont.

As Discipleship Pastor, David serves Rivertown Church in taking primary responsibility for the direction and multiplication of our discipleship ministries. David also serves Rivertown Church through teaching, pastoral care, leadership development, and preaching. David geeks out over many hobbies, including cycling, hunting, and anything else that might interest him. The Lord has been kind to David by giving him Kaitlyn as a wife, and three beatiful daughters.

Ben Whittinghill | Lead Pastor

Ben came to Christ at an early age in Atlanta, GA, and was called by God to pastor as a Junior at the University of Georgia. After finishing his business degree, Ben served as Discipleship Pastor of the City Church in Kennesaw, GA while completing his M.Div. at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

As Lead Pastor, Ben serves Rivertown Church in taking primary responsibility for vision, preaching, and equipping the church for the work of ministry. He also serves in pastoral care and leadership development. Ben also gets to serve on the leadership team of Small Town Summits and on the board of the Village Green Collective - both passionate about seeing the Lord Jesus magnified in all the small places of New England, through faithful discipleship and church planting. He is passionate about knowing and enjoying God in his Word, his family and friends, and discipling others to know and make Christ known. God has greatly blessed Ben and his wife Kayla with five boys and two girls.
